A nationally acclaimed national park lashed with exquisite flora and fauna sublimes in itself three wildlife sanctuaries and they consist of Chila, Rajaji and Motichur. And was established in the year 1983 which got recognized after the name of freedom fighter C. Rajgopalachari who was also known as Rajaji.
Situated across snorth western side of the state, it is surrounded by the Shivalik ranges across Indo Gangentic plain. And with inclusion of Sal forest the extensive category of animals and bird species can be found at this place. Thus to have the blasting experience one can also go for jungle jeep safari which is enchanting and soothing for wildlife lovers. Apart from the Jeep safari the intriguing elephant safari for the trail of 34 kms can be also done.
The fastidious lush green valleys to hilly terrains and sprawling grasslands the animals like elephant, Lizard, bear, Python, Cobra can be seen. And is a well-connected destination from road, train and by air. Promoting the bio diversity and rich ecosystem the park serves as the best weekend destination for tourists. However, going for a nature’s walk or trekking are the also alternates to be tried.
