- By Air: To reach Harsil Valley, the closest airport is the Jolly Grant Dehradun Airport, which is 200 km approx. to Uttarakashi. From there, a local taxi or bus can be used to reach Harsil Valley.
- By Train: Rishikesh, Dehradun, and Haridwar are the 3 railway stations and are the closest stations to reach the Harsil valley, from which Rishikesh is the closest in approx. 220 km distance from where local taxis or buses can drop you to Harsil.
